Endowment

  The Arts center has been enriching the lives of the residents in the Capital District for 53 years. Help to ensure that we continue to fulfill our mission for generations to come by investing in our Permanent or Term endowments.  Include a bequest provision in your will, consider willing us your home, rental property can be used to provide funding for our valuable programs.   Form a fundraising team and plan an event with proceeds that go to the Hamilton Hill Arts Center. You can have fun with your friends while making a valuable difference in your community.     

Maggie Walker Investment Club

  The child of a former slave, born July 15, 1864, Maggie Lena Walker was the first Black Banker. She founded a Newspaper, a Bank and a Department Store and was the Grand Secretary of the Independent Order of St. Luke, an organization dedicated to the social and financial advancement of African Americans     - Biography.com 


For this reason we have chosen to name our investment club after her. 

Members of our investment club will make a monthly payment at the amount of $10, $25, $50, $100, $500, Or $1000 per month. Investors will meet quarterly and vote from a list of organizational needs provided where they would like their investment to go.     

Volunteer

  Join our team!  

  •  Volunteer to teach or assist a class. 
  •  Become a Hall Monitor.
  •  Join our Clean up and Maintenance Team.
  •  Join an Event Committee for Junteenth, Kwanzaa or our annual fundraising Brunch.  
  • Start an internship in Business, Teaching, Social work , Art therapy or Arts Management 
  • Become a member of the interfaith community clean up team run by Temple 13
