The African-American Cultural Arts Center of the Capital Region
Culturefest is a yearly concert series that takes place in Jerry Burrell Park during the summer, each month a musical style from the African diaspora is celebrated. This concert series provides work to local musicians, while bringing music to those who often don't have the opportunity to travel outside of their neighborhoods. This year due to Covid-19 we are celebrating this concert series online. This concert can also be seen on Spectrum channel 1302 or Fios 37. This year and last year this series was made possible through funding from the Arts Center of the Capital Region. Please donate to keep this concert series going!
"This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by The Arts Center of the Capital Region.”
Your support and contributions will help us to serve Schenectady and the Capital Region with positive creative and educational opportunities for children and adults.
